RGB vs RGB-W Whip Light

What’s the difference?

There are two types of LED whip lights: RGB and RGB-W.

The easiest way to tell them apart is by looking closely at the LED chips on the whip:

• RGB-W whips have a small yellow LED chip visible on the strip.
• RGB whips do not have this yellow chip.

RGB and RGB-W whip controllers are not compatible with each other.
