RGB Light Bar Installation Guide

Overview:
Our Bushdoof RGB Light Bars offer superior performance with integrated RGB functionality for complete control. This guide walks you through mounting, wiring, and setup for reliable operation and customisable lighting.
What you'll need:
- Socket set
- Drill (if required)
- Electrical tape
- Zip ties
- Multimeter (optional)
- Vehicle manual (for reference)
- 7.5Ah inline fuse (recommended)
- Bushdoof Plug & Play Wiring Harness (optional)
Step 1: Test Light Bar & Controller
- Lay out the Light Bar and RGB controller.
- Test both for functionality before installing.
- Confirm Bluetooth pairing and RGB control is working.
Step 2: Mount the Light Bar
- Attach mounting brackets to the Light Bar using included hardware.
- Measure and position the Light Bar in your desired mounting location.
- Secure brackets firmly to prevent movement during driving.
Step 3: Install Controller & Wiring
- Mount the RGB controller in a secure, dry area.
- Extend red (positive) and black (negative) wiring if required.
- Connect to a 12V power source via switch or direct battery connection.
- Install a 7.5Ah fuse on the positive line for safety.
- Secure wiring with zip ties, avoiding heat and sharp edges.
Step 4: Connect Light Bar Power Wiring
- Install the Bushdoof Plug & Play Light Bar Wiring Harness.
- Mount relay, plug in high beam piggy back connector (H4 supplied), connect switch, and connect to battery.
- Plug Deutsch connector into Light Bar.
Step 5: Final Test & Configuration
- Power up and test all Light Bar functions.
- Open the Bluetooth app, connect to the RGB controller.
- Rename the controller and group with other Bushdoof products as desired.
- Confirm chasing, colour, or sync modes are functioning properly.
