Warranty Policy


1. Overview

All Bushdoof products are backed by warranties that meet or exceed the guarantees required under Australian Consumer Law. Our goal is to ensure every product performs as intended, with clear support in the rare case it doesn't.

Warranties are valid for the original purchaser only and are non-transferable.

2. Warranty Periods

Warranty coverage varies depending on the product type:

  • All products offer a 1 Year Warranty
  • Custom-Built Bi-LED Headlights: 3 Year Limited Warranty (unless stated otherwise)
  • LED Whip Lights: Lifetime Limited Warranty

Limited warranty means coverage excludes cosmetic damage and is valid only when installed and used under intended conditions.

3. What’s Covered

Our warranty covers:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • Faulty electronics or lighting performance issues
  • Water ingress (if the product is IP-rated and installed correctly)
  • LED failure not caused by damage or modification

If a fault occurs within the warranty period under normal use and proper installation, we will repair, replace, or refund the item at our discretion.

4. What’s Not Covered

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from incorrect installation or wiring
  • Abuse, misuse, off-label use, or modification of the product
  • Wear and tear from normal use (e.g. fading, scuffing)
  • Damage caused by external factors (e.g. collision, corrosion, water damage from damaged seals)
  • Products installed on vehicles with incompatible electrical systems
  • Improper cleaning or maintenance

Whip Lights damaged by over-bending, improper mounting, or incorrect voltage are not covered, even under lifetime warranty terms.

Any product that has been disassembled, modified, or tampered with by a third party is no longer eligible for warranty coverage.

Custom headlights that are opened, resealed, or rewired by a third party will void warranty coverage.

5. How to Make a Claim

Complete the relevant Troubleshooting Guide and complete the Warranty Request Form

We may request return of the faulty item for inspection.

6. Claim Resolution

Once your claim is assessed:

  • If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund the item
  • Replacements will be the same or a functionally equivalent product
  • Refunds (if offered) will be returned to the original payment method

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is confirmed faulty. If the item is found to be faulty, Bushdoof may cover the cost of outbound replacement shipping at our discretion.

7. Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
