Refund policy

This policy outlines the terms for refunds, returns, exchanges, and cancellations. It applies to all orders placed via www.bushdoof.co.

1. Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges

We accept returns in line with Australian Consumer Law. To qualify, items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include all original packaging and components
  • Be returned within 30 days of delivery

We offer exchanges for items that:

  • Are unused and in original condition
  • Include all original packaging and components
  • Is returned within 30 days of delivery

Shipping costs for both the return and replacement item will apply, and are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrectly supplied.

For warranty or fault-related claims, used items may still be eligible as outlined in Section 3.

All returns must be authorised. Please contact us before sending any items back.

2. Cancellation 

Custom-built products are made specifically for your vehicle or at request, and are not eligible for return or refund, unless:

  • The product is faulty or;
  • An incorrect item was supplied by Bushdoof

Cancellation Policy (all products):

  • 5% cancellation fee is applicable on all order cancelled within 24 hours of purchase

This policy applies to:

  • All products

Cancellation Policy (custom orders):

  • 5% cancellation fee is applicable on all order cancelled within 24 hours of purchase
  • After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee

This policy applies to:

  • Custom-built Headlights
  • Modified wiring kits
  • Special-order components or bundles

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, you must;

  • Notify us within 30 days of receiving the item
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue

Please note, if your claim is accepted we will repair or replace the item. If you fail to notify us within 30 days of delivery, you are not eligible for a replacement but only repair or parts under warranty.

If your item was damaged in transit; 

  • You must notify us within 7 days
  • Keep all boxes and shipping labels

Please note, failure to do so will mean we cannot exchange your item free of charge. 

If you were sent the incorrect item, you must;

  • Notify us within 30 days of receiving the item

For all cases, we may require the return of the item before issuing a resolution.

4. Refunds

Refunds will not be issued for products that have been damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or modification.

If your return is approved, you will be required to select either:

  • cash refund to your original payment method (a 15% restocking fee applies) or:
  • store credit issued as a digital gift card on your account (no restocking fee applies)

Once your preference is confirmed, we will process the refund accordingly.

Refunds are usually completed within 2-7 business days of approval. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty. You will receive confirmation once your refund or credit has been issued

5. Return Process

  • Contact us to request a return
  • Do not send items back without authorisation
  • Package items securely and use a tracked delivery method
  • Once received and inspected, we’ll confirm the outcome

Returns that arrive without approval may be rejected or returned at your expense.

6. Warranty Claims

Most Bushdoof products include a Bushdoof-issued warranty. Please see our Warranty Policy for more information.

To make a claim:

  • Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue
  • Include clear photos and information about how the product was installed

Warranty eligibility may be voided by improper use or installation.

7. Non-Returnable Items

  • Gift cards or store credit
  • Digital products and downloads
  • Custom-built Headlights
  • Electrical components that have been used or installed

8. Australian Consumer Law

Bushdoof goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund for major failures, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
