G5 Pod Lights - Troubleshooting

2 min read

If you're experiencing issues with your G5 Pod Lights, follow this guide to identify and resolve common problems.

1. Identify the Problem

Ask yourself the following:

  • Is there an issue with the outer LED ring?
  • Is the inner light not functioning?
  • Is the remote control not working?
  • Are there wiring or power issues?
  • Do you notice moisture or visible defects?

2. Outer LED Ring Not Working

Possible Cause: Incorrect parameters, LED fault or power issue.
✅ Solution:

  • Check wiring connections to ensure everything is secure and plugged in correctly.
  • Adjust the LED parameters via the app. Refer to our App Guide for step-by-step instructions.
  • Inspect for damaged LEDs along the ring. A single failed LED can affect the entire function.
  • Power cycle the system by pulling the fuse for 30 seconds and reconnecting.
  • App Troubleshooting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled, Airplane Mode is off and the app is connected properly. See our App Troubleshooting Guide for more help.

3. Inner Light Not Functioning

Possible Cause: Faulty light or connection issue.
✅ Solution:

Swap the connections between lights:

  • If the issue follows the light, the light is faulty.
  • If the issue remains on the same plug, the wiring or controller may be the problem.

4. Remote Control Not Working

Possible Cause: Flat battery or controller not powered.
✅ Solution:

  • Check for a blue light at the base of the remote. If not visible, replace the batteries.
  • Confirm the controller is powered on and wired correctly. If there is no power, the remote will not function.

5. Wiring or Power Issues

Possible Cause: Loose wiring or fuse problem.
✅ Solution:

  • Check all wiring connections are secure and correctly installed per our instructions.
  • Ensure the system is fused properly: A 10A fuse is required.
  • Power cycle the system by removing the fuse for 30 seconds, then reconnecting.

6. Moisture or Physical Damage

If you notice moisture inside the light or physical defects, you have two options:

  1. Warranty Claim – If you believe it’s a manufacturing issue, please contact us immediately , provide your order number and a photo of the issue for review.
  2. Replacement Inquiry – If the damage is outside warranty, we can assist with a replacement purchase.

If you've followed these steps and are still having trouble, please to contact us and provide the following:
